favorite place to walk is the very best seashell
collecting beach - cayo costa! i usually get dumped
off as my husband goes fishing elsewhere in the boat
...can stay here for several hours...quiet...except for
the sounds of the waves and the birds...

and then we found this little guy - only a few inches tall -

my backyard walk is this way through and under the oaks...leaves...

oaks are losing their leaves finally
each breeze brings
the old to the ground in a slow drift;
you can almost see the tiny green
shoots of the new pushing them off
the branches.
orchids have decided to push forth new
blooms also -
amazing time of the year.
